The Shoah (Hebrew: השואה, HaShoah, “the catastrophe”) or Holocaust was the Nazi perpetrated genocide of six million Jews from 1941 - 1945.
Shadows of Shoah is a unique multidisciplinary artistic work communicating the reality of the Holocaust to a new generation. Excerpts of Holocaust survivors' accounts are presented along with black and white portraiture and original music. Our exhibitions are innovative, immersive and compelling.
Since its launch in 2013 by New Zealand Prime Minister John Key, our work has been staged in museums, galleries, and public spaces throughout New Zealand. The River of Tears exhibition was launched in 2016 and debuted in Queensland, Australia. In 2019 our work will be available in Europe.
